Union Glashütte at the Silvretta Classic 2025

As a proud partner of the Silvretta Classic, UNION GLASHÜTTE was once again enthusiastically involved in one of the most beautiful classic car events of the year in the Montafon region in 2025. The 27th edition of the traditional rally took place from July 3rd to 5th, with around 180 historic vehicles spanning seven decades of automotive history competing. The Silvretta Classic is known for its unique combination of Alpine natural scenery and stylish classic mobility – and this year, it more than lived up to this reputation.
The oldest vehicle in the starting field was a pre-war model from 1932 – a real eye-catcher among the numerous automotive rarities. The drivers could look forward to an unforgettable rally experience with challenging elevation profiles, fresh Alpine air, and spectacular views.
The first day took the participants on a scenic 146-kilometer route through the Montafon region. The impressive Silvretta High Alpine Road led up to the Bielerhöhe and then on to Brand near Bludenz, passing the idyllic community of Gargellen.
The second day of the rally featured a challenging 277-kilometer route leading up to the 2,750-meter-high Kaunertal Glacier. In addition to alpine challenges, the route also offered fascinating landscapes around Imst – a true highlight for both driver and machine.
At the end of the three-day event, the final 168-kilometer stage led through some of Vorarlberg's most beautiful towns: from Zürs via Lech, Warth, and Schröcken to Damüls. This final stretch once again demanded the full potential of the classic cars, offering breathtaking views and a thoroughly successful finale to an extraordinary event.
The limited edition matching the rallye
This year, UNION GLASHÜTTE is once again presenting a limited-edition timepiece for the Silvretta Classic: Based on the popular Belisar Chronograph, a matching model was created, with a design that clearly harks back to the 1970s.
Warm orange and beige are combined with a complementary gray. The three included straps in fine stainless steel, robust leather, and a textile strap perfectly matching the dial give the watch a constantly changing look and make it the perfect companion – not just for a classic car rally. Other special features include eye-catching mushroom-shaped pushers for starting and stopping the chronograph function, screwed-on flanks on the sides of the 44 mm stainless steel case, and a distinctive crown. This exceptional timepiece is limited to just 200 pieces worldwide.
