1893 JOHANNES DÜRRSTEIN EDITION MOON PHASE

This calendar with moon phase display is based on the "1893" collection which harks back to the founding year and is also dedicated to company founder Johannes Dürrstein. There are just as many allusions to the Glashütte tradition, including the dial lacquered with glossy white enamel lacquer, the railway track chapter ring and blued hands. A scale to show the moon's progression, a feature seen on many historical “Grand Complications” from UNION GLASHÜTTE, is placed above the moon phase display. It rounds off the timepiece's traditional style, which also contains a number of contemporary elements.

At its core, beating inside the timepiece, is the finely decorated UNG-58.S1 manual winding mechanism with a three-quarter plate. It also features an indexless regulation system and silicon balance-spring system. The redesigned spring barrel and narrow-movement balance-spring unit provide enough power for up to 60 hours of use. This miniature work of art is available as a limited edition of 126 pieces in rose gold or in a version with a stainless steel case.
