Silvretta Classic Rally Montafon 2022

 Classic car rally, special editions

Six Union Teams started at the Silvretta Classic

The 24th Silvretta Classic took place at the beginning of July. Six teams competed for UNION GLASHÜTTE/ SA.

The rally, which leads through the beautiful Montafon, attracts hundreds of classic car enthusiasts every year. This year, a total of 180 teams took part on the approximately 590 kilometre long route - the starting places were booked out long beforehand. Among the participants was the well-known ORF-SPORT presenter and commentator Rainer Pariasek, who showed his sporting ambition during the special stages.

UNION GLASHÜTTE/ SA. successfully organised this year's rally in cooperation with the jeweller Plakolm from Bludenz.

This year's limited edition rally chronograph was an absolute eye-catcher. Based on a Viro chronograph, the Silvretta Classic 2022 limited edition shines in a fresh apple green. The very uncluttered and pure dial allows the green applied chronograph rings and the Silvretta Racing lettering, also in green, to shine. The black UNION lettering and the tachymeter scale in black form a fitting contrast and at the same time take a back seat in the design. Large numerals have been deliberately omitted, as has any other application. The focus here is clearly on time measurement. The colour combination is reminiscent of a well-known racing car from the late sixties. The racing character of the watch is rounded off by the colour-coordinated lapel strap, also in apple green and black. For the more classic wearer, there is an interchangeable metal bracelet. The Viro Chronograph Limited Edition Silvretta Classic 2022 is limited to an exclusive number of only 200 pieces.
