UNION Glashütte's retro classic shows off the latest technology

The UNION Glashütte watch brand has further developed its sporty Belisar Chronograph and now presents the watch with an unusual dial and new inner workings to the highest technical specifications. The dark green and black dial with a colour gradient running from the inside out is guaranteed to turn heads. Large numbers in a blocky retro style reminiscent of the classic modern era, a pulsometer and typical retro elements such as the pump push-buttons, the slightly domed sapphire crystal and the railway track chapter rings round off the watch's typical vintage character. Ticking away inside is the first movement of its generation: The UNG-27.S1, which features a silicon balance spring and a high power reserve of 65 hours. The timepiece also features a green nubuck leather cut edge strap with white bar tack stitch.

The ever-popular UNION Glashütte Belisar Chronograph has received a stunning makeover. With its unusual dark green colour, the watch is guaranteed to turn heads. A dark green colour gradient has been applied to the familiar panda dial which runs from the centre to the outside. The totalisers stand out with a contrasting stripe. The small second at 9 o'clock is still black, while the two other auxiliary dials and the pulsometer display stand out in matte white. Large blocky numbers particularly reminiscent of the classic modern era emphasise the retro character of the watch. The classic railway track chapter rings, retro pump push-buttons and the slightly domed sapphire crystal have the same effect.

The dark green dial on the wristwatch features totalisers and a pulsometer with classic hour and minute hands that are coated with Super-LumiNova®. The pulsometer hands also feature red points. The date display is at 6 o'clock. The chronograph measures a total of 44 mm and features the first movement of its kind, the UNG-27.S1, which is distinguished by a silicon balance spring and a high power reserve of 65 hours.

An additional detail on this timepiece is the matching dark green cut edge wrist strap in nubuck leather with a white bar tack stitch.
