The moon phase display is one of the most traditional complications in watchmaking. UNION GLASHÜTTE has given it a modern facelift. Sleek, sporty, enduring - this is how the sophisticated Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase presents itself from now on.
A round stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm and a striking yet classic dial design worthily sets the scene for the chronograph. The pushers of the chronograph mechanism are joined by a discreet corrector at 10 o'clock, which allows the day of the week to be set separately. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal on both sides and water resistance up to 10 bar (100 m) complete the list of its attributes.
On the inside beats the automatic caliber UNG-25.S1 with silicon balance spring and an improved power reserve of at least 65 hours.
The dial comes in a dynamic gray color and is divided as follows: The upper half of the dial displays the date. The chronograph functions are rounded off by a 60-second counter and a 12-hour counter at 6 o'clock, as well as a 30-minute counter at 12 o'clock. The dial also includes two windows indicating the weekday and the month. The counter at 9 o'clock has one hand for the 24-hour display and another hand for the seconds display. The moon phase display adds a stylish flourish with a gold-coloured moon set against a blue sky.
The stainless steel bracelet emphasises the sporty elegance of the watch and makes it the perfect companion for any occasion.

UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs.
By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation.
The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere.

STAINLESS STEEL
The only grade of steel used by Union Glashütte is stainless steel 316L. This alloy is characterised by its excellent anti-corrosion properties.
For the relevant watches, the following components are produced from this material: cases, bracelets, double fold fasteners with two push buttons (decorated).
Saphir
The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances.
Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.
Water resistance
All Union Glashütte watches are water-resistant as follows:
Men's watches up to 10 bar (100 m)
Ladies' watches up to 5 bar (50 m)
Gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m).
The water resistance cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. It may become compromised by ageing of the seals or knocks to the crown or push-buttons. We therefore recommend that you have the water resistance of your watch checked once a year by an approved Union Glashütte Service Centre and, if required, that you replace any defective parts.
Do not open the watch yourself under any circumstances.
