Sporty, stylish, unmistakeable: this men's watch unites nostalgic detailing with timeless good looks – not to mention Glashütte's unwavering precision, from a movement housed inside a round stainless steel case measuring a generous 44 mm in diameter. The UNG-27.S1, which features a silicon balance spring and a high power reserve of at least 65 hours. The push-buttons and crown on the right-hand edge of the case create an attractive design feature while also allowing for easy operation. Anti-reflective coating on both faces of the crystal, screwed-on flanks and a grey nubuck leather strap with light-coloured stitching complete the look. The timepiece is water-resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m).

UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs. By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation. The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere. STAINLESS STEEL

The only grade of steel used by Union Glashütte is stainless steel 316L. This alloy is characterised by its excellent anti-corrosion properties. For the relevant watches, the following components are produced from this material: cases, bracelets, double fold fasteners with two push buttons (decorated).
Saphir

Saphir

The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances. Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.

Union Glashütte uses primarily calfskin for its straps, either smooth or with a crocodile skin finish, as well as cowhide, cordovan or goatskin.
