1893 JOHANNES DÜRRSTEIN EDITION CHRONOGRAPH

The 1893 Chronograph rounds off trilogy, which honours the founder of our company; it embodies the essence and character of our past and our future. Mechanics fans will love the state-of-the-art, handwound UNG-59.S1 movement, which features a silicon balance-spring and indexless regulation system and which is coupled with a chronograph function. The extraordinarily open movement design is visible at a glance through the sapphire crystal case-back, allowing the wearer to take a closer look at the switching mechanisms.

The classic design of the dial, featuring totalisers and red hour numerals around the circumferential chapter ring, gives the timepiece a surprisingly sporty look. It's hard to believe that these coloured accents hark back to the most well-known historic watch from UNION GLASHÜTTE – the “Universaluhr”. Even the white enamel-toned lacquer, blued hands and beautifully curved numerals have been passed down from historic pocket watches.
