Noramis Date Limited Edition Deutschland Klassik 2024

D016.407.16.030.09

To mark the cooperation with the ADAC Deutschland Klassik 2024, UNION Glashütte is presenting a limited edition of the Noramis Date in an unusual design. The dial is inspired by the iconic multi-spoke rim. The applied chrome rim elements stand out from the highly polished black dial, while the design is reminiscent of oriental ornaments. Inside, the technically sophisticated mechanical movement UNG-07.S1 beats with a silicon balance spring and a power reserve of up to 60 hours. As a bonus, this model comes with an additional stainless steel case back with an engraved map of Germany, on which Bremerhaven is appropriately highlighted. This collector's item for all classic car fans is limited to 200 pieces.

silicon balance spring

silicon balance spring

UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs. By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation. The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere. You can recognize the use of the silicon spiral in your UNION GLASHÜTTE watch by the Si-poster that our watchmakers set and align by hand.
STAINLESS STEEL

STAINLESS STEEL

The only grade of steel used by Union Glashütte is stainless steel 316L. This alloy is characterised by its excellent anti-corrosion properties. For the relevant watches, the following components are produced from this material: cases, bracelets, double fold fasteners with two push buttons (decorated).
Saphir

Saphir

The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances. Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.
LEATHER

LEATHER

Union Glashütte uses primarily calfskin for its straps, either smooth or with a crocodile skin finish, as well as cowhide, cordovan or goatskin.
Water resistance

Water resistance

All Union Glashütte watches are water-resistant as follows: Men's watches up to 10 bar (100 m) Ladies' watches up to 5 bar (50 m) Gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m). The water resistance cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. It may become compromised by ageing of the seals or knocks to the crown or push-buttons. We therefore recommend that you have the water resistance of your watch checked once a year by an approved Union Glashütte Service Centre and, if required, that you replace any defective parts. Do not open the watch yourself under any circumstances.
