The Belisar Chronograph Sport from Union Glashütte presents itself in a new, particularly powerful version with a high-quality stainless steel bracelet and quick-release system. Designed for sporty, active watch enthusiasts, this mechanical chronograph combines technical precision with an expressive, masculine design. Sporty design with high-tech materials. The 43 mm stainless steel chronograph impresses with a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel with a tachymeter scale, uniting sporty dynamism and technical function. The screwed-on case flanks are coated with a particularly durable black DLC coating and polished to a high shine – a strong statement for modern sports watches from Glashütte.Functionality thought through down to the last detail.
The black textured dial underscores the chronograph's dynamic character. Skeletonized nickel hands with Super-LumiNova® coating, striking indices, and yellow accents on the chronograph hands and counters ensure excellent legibility. Behind the double anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the automatic caliber keeps perfect time." UNG-27.S1 with a minimum 65-hour power reserve. The solid, three-link stainless steel bracelet is crafted from finely tuned polished and satin-finished elements, giving the Belisar Chronograph Sport a striking presence on the wrist. The high-quality workmanship ensures not only an elegant appearance, but also stability and exceptional wearing comfort – ideal for everyday wear, business, and sporting activities. The stainless steel bracelet is complemented by an additional textile strap. Thanks to the quick-release spring bars, the strap can be changed in seconds – without any tools. UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs.
By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation.
The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere.
You can recognize the use of the silicon spiral in your UNION GLASHÜTTE watch by the Si-poster that our watchmakers set and align by hand.
STAINLESS STEEL
The only grade of steel used by Union Glashütte is stainless steel 316L. This alloy is characterised by its excellent anti-corrosion properties.
For the relevant watches, the following components are produced from this material: cases, bracelets, double fold fasteners with two push buttons (decorated).
Saphir
The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances.
Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.
LEATHER
Union Glashütte uses primarily calfskin for its straps, either smooth or with a crocodile skin finish, as well as cowhide, cordovan or goatskin.
Water resistance
All Union Glashütte watches are water-resistant as follows:
Men's watches up to 10 bar (100 m)
Ladies' watches up to 5 bar (50 m)
Gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m).
The water resistance cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. It may become compromised by ageing of the seals or knocks to the crown or push-buttons. We therefore recommend that you have the water resistance of your watch checked once a year by an approved Union Glashütte Service Centre and, if required, that you replace any defective parts.
Do not open the watch yourself under any circumstances.
