    Description

    Classic elegance. Glashütte precision.

With the Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase, UNION GLASHÜTTE presents a timepiece that translates the tradition of Saxon watchmaking into a modern form. The stainless steel version combines the functionality of a sophisticated chronograph with the timeless fascination of the moon phase display, creating a harmonious blend of technology, aesthetics, and everyday wearability.

The deep blue dial with its fine sunburst finish provides the backdrop for a balanced interplay of calendar functions, chronograph displays, and astronomical complication. The moon phase display at 6 o'clock is particularly eye-catching: The golden moon stands out impressively against the dark sky, lending the model a poetic touch. Carefully coordinated indices, hands, and displays ensure clear legibility and a balanced design at all times.

    Craftsmanship meets modern technology.

The 42-millimeter stainless steel case offers a contemporary interpretation of the characteristic Belisar architecture. The striking screwed-on flanks give the model a distinctive character and underscore the collection's high recognition value.
The chronograph is powered by the automatic caliber UNG-25.S1, which is assembled and regulated in Glashütte. The modern silicon balance spring improves rate stability and increases resistance to magnetic fields. Thanks to a power reserve of at least 65 hours, the timepiece remains reliably ready for use even after several days.

The blue leather strap with crocodile embossing complements the elegant appearance and harmoniously echoes the dial's color scheme.

    The Fascination of Mechanical Timekeeping

For generations, UNION GLASHÜTTE has stood for high-quality watchmaking from Saxony. The Belisar Chronograph Moon Phase Stainless Steel embodies this commitment in a special way: It combines classic complications, precise mechanics, and timeless design into a versatile companion for every day. A timepiece for all those who want to not only admire the beauty of traditional watchmaking but experience it daily.

    silicon balance spring

    silicon balance spring

UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs. By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation. The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere. You can recognize the use of the silicon spiral in your UNION GLASHÜTTE watch by the Si-poster that our watchmakers set and align by hand.
    STAINLESS STEEL

    STAINLESS STEEL

Union Glashütte uses only 316L stainless steel for cases, bracelets, and clasps. This alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance, stability, and skin compatibility, and has established itself as a particularly reliable material in watchmaking.

Elaborate machining processes create differentiated surfaces – from satin-finished to high-gloss polished. Their precise interplay gives the watch depth and contour and underscores the high manufacturing quality.

    Saphir

    Saphir

The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances. Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.
    Leather straps

    Leather straps

Union Glashütte primarily uses calfskin – smooth or crocodile-embossed – as well as cowhide, horsehide, and goatskin for its watch straps. Each of these materials brings its own unique texture and characteristics, giving the watch an individual character.

As a natural material, leather develops a characteristic patina over time. This change reflects its use and underscores the wearer's personal style.

    Water resistance

    Water resistance

The water resistance of UNION GLASHÜTTE watches varies depending on the model: Men's watches are protected up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m), women's watches up to 5 bar (50 m), and gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m). Selected sporty models may offer even higher water resistance.

The stated water resistance is not a permanent characteristic and can be affected by external factors such as the aging of the seals and mechanical stress on the crown or pushers. To ensure continued functionality, regular checks are recommended.

UNION GLASHÜTTE recommends having the water resistance checked approximately once a year by an authorized service partner and replacing any necessary components. Work on the case should only be carried out by qualified professionals.
