Noramis Chronograph Sport

Noramis Chronograph Sport

D012.927.11.047.00

A water sports timepiece with a retro look. The Noramis Chronograph Sport features a polished stainless steel case and a striking 43 mm diameter. The chronograph function is activated using the mushroom-shaped pushers typical of the Noramis product line. Embedded subdials at 3 and 9 o'clock are silver-colored for easy legibility, while the date display blends in discreetly. The domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal reveals the distinctive dial design with its dégradé effect: The blue changes from radiantly light in the center to dark at the outer edge. Impressive details such as the stainless steel bracelet, screw-lock crown, unidirectional rotating bezel made of black ceramic, and water resistance up to 20 bar (200 meters) make the watch a perfect companion—whether on or in the water.

silicon balance spring

silicon balance spring

UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs. By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation. The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere. You can recognize the use of the silicon spiral in your UNION GLASHÜTTE watch by the Si-poster that our watchmakers set and align by hand.
STAINLESS STEEL

STAINLESS STEEL

Union Glashütte uses only 316L stainless steel for cases, bracelets, and clasps. This alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance, stability, and skin compatibility, and has established itself as a particularly reliable material in watchmaking.

Elaborate machining processes create differentiated surfaces – from satin-finished to high-gloss polished. Their precise interplay gives the watch depth and contour and underscores the high manufacturing quality.

Saphir

Saphir

The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances. Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.
Water resistance

Water resistance

The water resistance of UNION GLASHÜTTE watches varies depending on the model: Men's watches are protected up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m), women's watches up to 5 bar (50 m), and gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m). Selected sporty models may offer even higher water resistance.

The stated water resistance is not a permanent characteristic and can be affected by external factors such as the aging of the seals and mechanical stress on the crown or pushers. To ensure continued functionality, regular checks are recommended.

UNION GLASHÜTTE recommends having the water resistance checked approximately once a year by an authorized service partner and replacing any necessary components. Work on the case should only be carried out by qualified professionals.
