The Noramis Date Sport scores with style and refined details: the striking stainless steel case with a diameter of 42 mm is polished and satined on the sides. An extremely domed crystal made of scratch-resistant sapphire and the unidirectional rotating bezel made of black ceramic are extremely durable and ready for many adventures. The crown and sapphire crystal case back are both screwed in place, to ensure water resistance up to 20 bar. The milanaise bracelet is provided with interchangeable spring bars. This makes it very easy to change the supplied blue textile strap and the look of the watch adapts easily to the current style and occasion.

UNION GLASHÜTTE uses Silicon, a chemical element of the family of metalloids, in the manufacture of balance springs. By use of Silicon, our watches are insensitive to magnetic fields, temperature fluctuations and shocks. They are very stable in shape and resistant to oxidation. The silicon spiral guarantees higher power stability in our mechanical movements - so your watch runs precisely anytime, anywhere. You can recognize the use of the silicon spiral in your UNION GLASHÜTTE watch by the Si-poster that our watchmakers set and align by hand.

STAINLESS STEEL

Union Glashütte uses only 316L stainless steel for cases, bracelets, and clasps. This alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance, stability, and skin compatibility, and has established itself as a particularly reliable material in watchmaking.

Elaborate machining processes create differentiated surfaces – from satin-finished to high-gloss polished. Their precise interplay gives the watch depth and contour and underscores the high manufacturing quality.

Saphir

The sapphire used by Union Glashütte for its crystals is a white, synthetic sapphire. Thanks to its hardness rating of 9, this crystal can only be scratched by very hard diamond-like substances. Union Glashütte watches only use double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystals. As there are no reflections on the crystal, the full splendour of the dial is revealed.
Water resistance

Water resistance

All Union Glashütte watches are water-resistant as follows: Men's watches up to 10 bar (100 m) Ladies' watches up to 5 bar (50 m) Gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m). The water resistance cannot be guaranteed indefinitely. It may become compromised by ageing of the seals or knocks to the crown or push-buttons. We therefore recommend that you have the water resistance of your watch checked once a year by an approved Union Glashütte Service Centre and, if required, that you replace any defective parts. Do not open the watch yourself under any circumstances.
