With the Belisar Chronograph Limited Edition Silvretta Classic 2026, UNION GLASHÜTTE celebrates the fascination of 1980s rally racing. Inspired by an iconic car from that era, this timepiece, limited to 200 pieces, combines precise Glashütte watchmaking craftsmanship with the powerful design language of classic motorsport legends – characterized by dynamism, adventure, and uncompromising performance.
At its heart is a striking dial that impressively interprets the technical aesthetics of motorsport. The white dial features a gray, granulated center with an engine-inspired texture, giving the watch a unique depth. Contrasting details such as the yellow minute track with Super-LumiNova®, the black tachymeter scale, and tachymeter-style subdials with red accents evoke the visual world of classic rally cockpits. Black, PVD-coated hands with luminous material ensure optimal legibility at all times – even under demanding conditions.
Striking design, maximum versatility
The 44-millimeter stainless steel case follows the unmistakable Belisar architecture with screwed-on flanks and underscores the robust, functional character of the chronograph. Mushroom-shaped pushers and a distinctive crown add further motorsport accents. Three included straps with a practical quick-change system ensure individual wearing comfort: a sporty yellow textile strap, a classic stainless steel bracelet, and a black leather strap with a color accent. Each strap reflects the dynamic color scheme of the model and adapts flexibly to different situations.
Inside, the automatic caliber UNG-27.S1, known for its precision and reliability, powers the watch. With a power reserve of at least 65 hours, it meets the highest standards of modern mechanical watchmaking.

Union Glashütte uses only 316L stainless steel for cases, bracelets, and clasps. This alloy is characterized by high corrosion resistance, stability, and skin compatibility, and has established itself as a particularly reliable material in watchmaking.
Elaborate machining processes create differentiated surfaces – from satin-finished to high-gloss polished. Their precise interplay gives the watch depth and contour and underscores the high manufacturing quality.

Water resistance
The water resistance of UNION GLASHÜTTE watches varies depending on the model: Men's watches are protected up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m), women's watches up to 5 bar (50 m), and gold watches up to 3 bar (30 m). Selected sporty models may offer even higher water resistance.
The stated water resistance is not a permanent characteristic and can be affected by external factors such as the aging of the seals and mechanical stress on the crown or pushers. To ensure continued functionality, regular checks are recommended.
UNION GLASHÜTTE recommends having the water resistance checked approximately once a year by an authorized service partner and replacing any necessary components. Work on the case should only be carried out by qualified professionals.
