Not only do chronographs have that super sporty look, they also feature a stopwatch mechanism, which represents the height of refinement without compromising on practicality, and have been regarded as part of the established repertoire of watchmakers since the 19th century. Modern chronographs from Union Glashütte combine function with genuine style. Alongside the stopwatch second hand emerging from the centre, they display the elapsed minutes and hours on separate counters which are embedded in the dial.
Several of our chronographs feature a tachymeter or telemeter scale on the outer edge of the dial, enabling the wearer to read the speed and distance.
Extra-long hands make for easier reading, while the smooth-running push-buttons on the right-hand edge of the casing for starting, stopping and resetting the chronograph bear markings that indicate their functions.
Each and every Union Glashütte chronograph has a power reserve of 60 hours – more than enough for several memorable moments
