Dream cars along dream roads. Some of the most beautiful classic cars in the world have been rendezvousing at the Silvretta Classic since 1998, where drivers and cars alike can prove their prowess on spectacular mountain passes in the Austrian Alps. The 21st edition (2018) saw nearly 200 drivers participating. Among them were three drivers sponsored by Union Glashütte who, for one segment, had some very athletic competition. Olympic ski-jumping champion Severin Freund took the opportunity to drive one stage of the rally on behalf of the brand. The overall champions and the winners of the special stage could look forward to two timelessly elegant watches, which look good in classic cars of any age: the 1893 Large Second and the Viro Date.
