Special exhibition at the Watch Museum | 6 December 2017 to 2 April 2018
Johannes Dürrstein laid the foundation for the "Glashütter Uhrenfabrik Union" on 1 January 1893, 125 years ago. To celebrate this 125th anniversary, the German Watch Museum in Glashütte presented the special exhibition "Union Glashütte – 125 Jahre Deutsche Uhrmacherkunst" (Union Glashütte – 125 years of German watchmaking), with many historical exhibits on the brand's journey but also watches from the recent collections. Interactive stations were also on offer, for example to enable visitors to step into the shoes of a watchmaker. The exhibition was open from 6 December 2017 to 2 April 2018.
