SMALL SECOND ANNIVERSARY EDITION
SILVER COLOURED DIAL WITH LEATHER STRAP
Limited special edition
As homage to the 175th anniversary of Union Glashütte's founding father, this limited edition model commemorates the birthday of Johannes Dürrstein. It is not only especially rare – it also celebrates the timeless fascination of mechanical watchmaking.
The 1893 Small Second Anniversary Edition, with its fine decorations and automatic movement with characteristic UNION rotor, is an unmistakable reference to Glashütte's origins. It features a 41-mm stainless steel case, polished to a high gloss, and a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both faces over the dial. The watch is presented on a blue leather strap with a fine crocodile-skin effect.
The Small Second of this Anniversary Edition, limited to 175 pieces, gives it an artistic touch and is emphasised by a fine silver-coloured frame. The elegant shape of the display reminds you of historic pocket watches.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT U 2899-ZZ6
Each and every Union Glashütte watch is painstakingly finished, assembled and calibrated by hand by our watchmakers in Glashütte, Saxony, in a process comprising numerous complicated steps. Ticking away at the heart of the 1893 Small Second is an automatic movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. The rotor bears the skeletonised brand lettering and the refined Glashütte stripe finish. The exquisite decoration of the movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
