REGULATOR ANNIVERSARY EDITION
SILVER COLOURED DIAL WITH LEATHER STRAP
Limited special edition
As homage to the 175th anniversary of Union Glashütte's founding father, this limited edition model commemorates the birthday of Johannes Dürrstein. It is not only especially rare – it also celebrates the timeless fascination of mechanical watchmaking.
The 1893 Regulator Anniversary Edition, with its fine decorations and automatic movement with characteristic UNION rotor, is an unmistakable reference to Glashütte's origins. It features a 41-mm stainless steel case, polished to a high gloss, and a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both faces over the dial. The watch is presented on a blue leather strap with a fine crocodile-skin effect.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Regulators were important precision instruments, for they dictated the rhythm by which other timepieces were set. The extravagant design of this Anniversary Edition, limited to 175 pieces, with separate positioning of the hour and minute displays, goes back to historic precision Regulators that also served as reference in the former UNION watch factory. To allow you to read off the time more precisely, only the minutes are displayed on the main dial, while the hour and second hands each rotate off-centre in smaller dial areas.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT U 2899-0Z6
Each and every Union Glashütte watch is painstakingly finished, assembled and calibrated by hand by our watchmakers in Glashütte, Saxony, in a process comprising numerous complicated steps. Ticking away at the heart of the 1893 Regulator is an automatic movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. The rotor bears the skeletonised brand lettering and the refined Glashütte stripe finish. The exquisite decoration of the movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
