LARGE SECOND ANNIVERSARY EDITION
SILVER COLOURED DIAL WITH LEATHER STRAP
Limited special edition
As homage to the 175th anniversary of Union Glashütte's founding father, this limited edition model commemorates the birthday of Johannes Dürrstein. It is not only especially rare – it also celebrates the timeless fascination of mechanical watchmaking.
The Large Second Anniversary Edition, with its fine decorations and automatic movement with characteristic UNION rotor, is an unmistakable reference to Glashütte's origins. It features a 41-mm stainless steel case, polished to a high gloss, and a domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on both faces over the dial. The watch is presented on a blue leather strap with a fine crocodile-skin effect.
The dial of the 1893 Large Second Anniversary Edition reduces time to the essentials. Stylistically, the Anniversary Edition, limited to 175 pieces, will impress you with the extravagant design of the dial, with the Large Second and the main dial arranged horizontally. This is what makes it look so unique.

AUTOMATIC MOVEMENT U 2899-993
Each and every Union Glashütte watch is painstakingly finished, assembled and calibrated by hand by the watchmakers in Glashütte, Saxony, in a process comprising numerous complicated steps. Ticking away at the heart of the 1893 Large Second is an automatic movement with a power reserve of 42 hours. The rotor bears the skeletonised brand lettering and the refined Glashütte stripe finish. The exquisite decoration of the movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
