JOHANNES DÜRRSTEIN EDITION MOON PHASE
STAINLESS STEEL CASE WITH STAINLESS STEEL BRACELET
DEDICATED TO TRADITION
Our exclusive Johannes Dürrstein editions are dedicated to the great Glashütte watchmaking tradition and inspired by historical pocket watches. This model combines the classic complication of the moon phase with a sophisticated calendar. On the outside, too, the elegant timepiece is in no way inferior to its mechanical predecessor: the stainless steel housing with a diameter of 41 mm is worn with a snuggly stainless steel bracelet. Robust sapphire crystal on the front and back of the watch provides a clear view of all its components.
SPECIAL FEATURES
This sophisticated timepiece leaves no questions unanswered – and no desires unfulfilled. The mechanical calendar provides the wearer with an overview of the date, weekday and month. The watch also features a 24-hour display, a small second and the traditional moon phase with progression scale. In spite of its many displays, the classic and elegant dial nonetheless remains clear and easy to read. It draws upon numerous elements of historical Glashütte pocket watches, such as the enamel white dial, the railway track chapter ring, finely applied Arabic numerals and blued hands.

MANUAL WINDING MOVEMENT UNG-58.S1
The inner workings of the watch harmoniously combine tradition and modernity. The finely decorated hand-wound UNG-58.S1 movement is affixed to a classic Glashütte three-quarter plate that can be admired through the sapphire glass case. A completely new and extremely innovative feature is the balance spring made from silicon – a highly modern material that is insusceptible to magnetic fields. A 60-hour power reserve guarantees the autonomy customers have come to expect from a modern watch. As with all movements that UNION GLASHÜTTE uses, this one is also elaborately refined, fitted and calibrated by experienced watchmakers at our workshop in Glashütte.
